This is where the James Bond formula really hits its stride
One of the best Bond films ever. Slow burn that leans more into spy-craft and has an excellent foil in Shaw’s formidable Red Grant.

Even after nearly 60 years, it’s still one of the best Bonds, more of a spy thriller than the all-out action that would come in later years.
A classic Bond film. Connery really came into his own with the role here, and the Eastern European setting is perfect for espionage
Classic Bond antics. Wild that this was made in ‘63. Enjoy Connery as Bond. Action sequences are a little outdated and rigid.
Peak Connery Bond that drags on. Technically an improvement on Dr. No, but story wise it's unfocused by today's standards.
