The enigmatic Fletch strikes again in a plot contrived to put him in as many ridiculous situations as possible. Daydream sequence is best.
Sometimes Chevy is just plain stupid, this is one of those times.
I liked it a lot, but it hand many boring spots as well.
It's funny but not as good as the first movie

Chevy being Chevy as the man of disguise returns for a decent mystery amid some stale comedy, uncomfortable southern stereotypes & KKK humor
Barely remember much about either of these films, but I do recall that they left me not bothered if I never watch them again! Nuff said?
I love the Fletch series. A great homage to the Thin Man series.
Not anywhere near as spectacular as the first. It has some entertainment value, but overall it’s very cringe and poorly made
Fletch is maybe Chase's most true to form character. The sequel does the trick.

When investigative reporter Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher goes undercover to write a piece on the drug trade at a local beach, he's approached by wealthy businessman Alan Stanwyk, who offers him $50,000 to murder him. With sarcastic wit and a knack for disguises, Fletch sets out to uncover Stanwyk's story.
Fletch is a fish out of water in small-town Louisiana, where he's checking out a tumbledown mansion he's inherited. When a woman he flirts with turns up dead, he becomes a suspect and must find the killer and clear his name.
