I saw this in theatres and the opening sequence is probably the closest thing to going to space that I can experience.
Absolutely marvelous visuals and direction, but Gosling's "emotionally stunted space man" is a tough hang. Gets old quickly.
Haven’t seen it in years but I recall loving the story & especially the score. There are some very emotional scenes acted very well
This movie is not just about Neil, it's about the whole process to reach the Moon. Another fantastic movie with the amazing Ryan Gosling.
Chazelle fans often forget about this film because it’s more subdued an experience, but it is truly worth a watch. Underrated gem.
Act 3 is still a masterpiece of scenery porn, but even acts 1 and 2 keeps the pace moving with conflict during scenes of dialogue.
