At first I thought “Is this a Matrix knockoff?” But then… anyway pretty ridiculous at times but entertaining & satisfying, for the most part
Great sci-fi with a complex plot that's well written and directed. For a world devoid of emotion the audience can easily sympathise
Fantastic Concept. Strong performance from Bale. Clearly inspired by sci-fi classics like the Matrix, which shows in the action sequences.
1984 meets The Matrix. Good enough watch if you like sci-fi/dystopian themes and can get past the cheesy action.

The story may not be one found once in a lifetime, but god does this movie compensate with its direction and Bale's acting. It's human hope.
Equilibrium is a dystopian, matrix type movie. It has some original fight scenes, with a story that explores what it means to be human.
One of the best dystopian movies since the matrix. The fight scenes were the best!!
