A young Christian Bale is great. The story is good, suffers from a run time that is too long but still worth a watch.
In the begining is kinda boring, but then is actually pretty good bale making history since a young age
An underated move about WWII from a civilian point of view
I can't say enough good things about Christian Bale as a young or now older actor, phenomenal in everything he appears in.
A young Christian Bale was amazing even then. This movie broke my heart. The kind soldier, the war, the little boy captured. Great movie
Not your normal Spielberg outing. More nuanced and creative than his other work. A highly underrated ‘war through the eyes of a child’ film.
A thoughtful, touching story with beautiful moments. Great direction from Spielberg and good performance from a young Christian Bale.
Unbelievably good! Beautiful and inspiring. How this movie went under the radar remains a mystery to me.
Christian Bale and John Malkovich are incredible! The story and visuals are amazing. A must-watch for Spielberg fans!
Yes, that's Christian Bale. A journey through WWII China that keeps you watching every second. Be on the look out for familiar faces.
