Ellen is extremely out of touch of most people and in this special, she makes that known. It’s not very funny, but points for awareness.
It’s fine...not super funny but it’s okay.
Small talent, dull jokes, shallow, & phony like her TV series & talk show.
Rather slow and unremarkable for Ellen. I wish her subject matter was more funny.
The jokes about being a lesbian and liberal get very repetitive, definitely disappointing know that Ellen COULD be so much better
I love Ellen a lot but a standup about how she's relatable just doesn't work because she isn't.She's a genuinely funny person, just not here
The first part was strong, the second part not so much. Her funny bone seems to have weakened.
This showed me a side of Ellen that felt lost in her talk show. Not my favorite stand up but I definitely enjoyed it.
Feels dated and oddly defensive, leaning on safe jokes and self-justification more than sharp observation or genuine insight.
Should it be called comedy special even if there's nothing special about it?
