Kind of funny. Kind of dark. Don’t run away from this movie.
Julia Louise Dreyfus is a comedy genius. Will Ferrell needs to raise his game.
The acting is good but the story was a little slow and uninteresting.
Just stick with the original, this is a classic case of bad american remake
Just watch Force Majeure. This is a comparatively styleless remake. Will Ferrell is ill-suited to the film’s dramatic beats. Unfunny too.
It's a great story that was already told extremely well in Force Majeure. I thought they'd amp up the comedy, but nope. Just unnecessary.
Some funny scenes. Actually more serious and complex when it comes to the couples relationship and likeness to each other.
Some scenes works, but does not handle the shame as good as the original, Force Majeure, does.
Like being stuck on an awkward family trip; it delivers a real portrayal of tense family dynamics
