Die Hard: With a Vengeance
Action • R • 1995 • 2 hr 8 min
I love the first Die Hard, but this one might be my favorite. It's like a time-capsule...it takes '90s NYC and makes it a main character
The best of the sequels, Willis and Jackson are a lot of fun together.
The first half is really fun, the second half gets bogged down and slowed. Turns into kind of a slog. But it's still fun '90s action.
Better than the first two, primarily due to the interaction between Willis and Jackson.
Not the classic of the first one, but the second best of the five
The chemistry between Wills and Jackson is very good and the story keeps you focused and I dare say it's just as good as the first die hard.
A smarter action movie that seems to revolve more around strategy and puzzles. Many dislike, but I find it to be my favorite Die Hard film.
Solid movie, great chemistry. Totally fine to jump in right here without the other ones. Oh, and John McClain is invited to the cookout.
Relentless action with constant misdirection. Can’t complain for a third installment. Like the addition of Jackson. Pretty good villain.
This one has aged the most of all the DH films, but there are still some good moments.
NYPD cop John McClane's plan to reconcile with his estranged wife is thrown for a serious loop when, minutes after he arrives at her office, the entire building is overtaken by a group of terrorists. With little help from the LAPD, wisecracking McClane sets out to single-handedly rescue the hostages and bring the bad guys down.
Off-duty cop John McClane is gripped with a feeling of déjà vu when, on a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation’s capital, terrorists seize a major international airport, holding thousands of holiday travelers hostage. Renegade military commandos led by a murderous rogue officer plot to rescue a drug lord from justice and are prepared for every contingency except one: McClane’s smart-mouthed heroics.
New York detective John McClane is back and kicking bad-guy butt in the third installment of this action-packed series, which finds him teaming with civilian Zeus Carver to prevent the loss of innocent lives. McClane thought he'd seen it all, until a genius named Simon engages McClane, his new "partner" -- and his beloved city -- in a deadly game that demands their concentration.
John McClane is back and badder than ever, and this time he's working for Homeland Security. He calls on the services of a young hacker in his bid to stop a ring of Internet terrorists intent on taking control of America's computer infrastructure.
Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, finds himself for the first time on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack - unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover that their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.
