If you want to watch a senseless “action” movie that should not be taken seriously, then I guess it’s a good watch.

Death Race a grindhouse film. This remake does it no justice. This is a type of movie that only works for the era it was created in.
Love Death Race series, the only good thing about this is the nostalgia for bad quality movies, oh and Malcolm McDowell

In a boorish future, the government sponsors a popular, but bloody, cross-country race in which points are scored by mowing down pedestrians. Five teams, each comprised of a male and female, compete using cars equipped with deadly weapons. Frankenstein, the mysterious returning champion, has become America's hero, but this time he has a passenger from the underground resistance.
The year 2050 the planet has become overpopulated, to help control population the government develops a race. The Death Race. Annually competitors race across the country scoring points for killing people with their vehicles.
