The Tatta's 2

A well-to-do white family struck by overnight financial ruin struggle to find their place in the urban, multicultural working-class neighborhood they are forced to move into.

The Van Kampen family is in for another big surprise. They have just settled in nicely among their new friends, when they receive the news that the Hollandwijk is threatened with demolition. To make matters worse, Erik's father, the oppertatta, comes to live with them and everything the Tatta's have built up is thrown completely out of balance.

The Gringo family just wants to enjoy a cozy vacation at home, but their plans collapse when their apartment building undergoes renovations. They're forced to temporarily relocate to the strange and infamous German District. While the rest of the family worries about having to adjust all over again, Erik secretly hatches a plan to still go on a sunny holiday. But his scheme backfires, landing him in a chaotic quarrel - and a hefty fine. To pay it off, he must work at a bustling bazaar full of quirky characters who keep finding new tricks to make him stay longer. The Gringo's will have to pull out all the stops, forge unlikely friendships, and come up with one outrageous master plan to break free - and finally enjoy their well-deserved trip to the sun.
