Daniel Isn't Real
Horror • NR • 2019 • 1 hr 40 min
Very well done, but slow, and there's a certain aspect that kind of takes you out of it, so it loses a bit of the fear. Still, I recommend.
It was an interesting movie. Mental illness is big part of the story, but for the most part I don't see it as being a cheap scare.
Different but definitely intriguing throughout. Great acting all around
Invisible friends aren't always friendly. Dark indie horror hides a somber take on mental health struggles.
A horror film that blends the demonic and psychological sub-genres to great effect. A sense of darkness and dread permeates the runtime.
Problematic, but not the worst thing I’ve seen.
It’s an actual work of art, good plot, complex characters, keeps you guessing too.
Unexpected psychological horror and sharp twists and turns make this book turned movie a thrilling and unpredictable journey.
A well acted, smart, sharp and unique psychological horror film whose premise and ideas are executed pretty well. Definitely worth the watch
