The movie was pretty decent, wish I’d found a better sub because I was pretty confused at times.
Visually this is a feast for the eyes, but the story was pretty convoluted and ridiculous.
Watched on Prime, Visuals & Action is amazing! This is a 16th century adapted novel so some of the storyline may get confusing
A pretty good film, high production cost and great costumes and sets. It's more of a fantasy film. Could never happen.
If you like ancient chinese fanfare. It reminds me of The Curse of the Golden Flower, by Zhang Yimou. Cool warriors and costumes. I loved it
these people are so gorgeous fr

Based on the most well-known classical fantasy novel of China, Fengshenyanyi, the trilogy is a magnificent eastern high fantasy epic that recreates the prolonged mythical wars between humans, immortals and monsters, which happened more than three thousand years ago.
Taishi Wen Zhong led the army of Shang Dynasty including Deng Chanyu and four generals of the Mo Family to Xiqi. With the help of Kunlun immortals such as Jiang Ziya, Ji Fa led the army and civilians of Xiqi to defend their homeland.
Ji Fa unites the princes of the four directions to march into Chaoge. Yin Shou and Tong Tian Jiaozhu set up the 'Nine-bend Yellow River Formation' and the 'Zhu Xian Formation'. Yuan Shi Tianzun brings the twelve golden immortals down the mountain, and the war between the three realms of humans, immortals and demons is about to break out.
