I literally cried. Why did a freaking Clerks movie MAKE ME CRY?!?! Ughhhhh
A movie about making a movie specifically for fans of that movie
This is literally just “hey remember this from 30 years ago? Here it is again!” But as a massive clerks fan, I’m fine with that.
Jesus, what q way to stick the landing.
I hit every emotion while watching this. It's incredible. Only fans of the other two will like it. Thankfully, I am.
I have rarely seen so much heart and soul go into a tribute film. Films like this are why I love movies and Kevin Smith
Have to watch the first two movies, but the payoff is amazing
Clerks 3 is not as funny as the 2nd. This is largely a fictional autobiography of Kevin Smith's life and I love and hate it for that.
Smith looses momentum and is leaning into crowd pleasing scenes. But the meta storyline takes off and works better in the second half.
The acting's not great (duh), but it's a satisfying and heartfelt end for those who has their eyes opened by Clerks.
Convenience and video store clerks Dante and Randal are sharp-witted, potty-mouthed and bored out of their minds. So in between needling customers, the counter jockeys play hockey on the roof, visit a funeral home and deal with their love lives.
A calamity at Dante and Randall's shops sends them looking for new horizons - but they ultimately settle at Mooby's, a fictional Disney-McDonald's-style fast-food empire.
After narrowly surviving a massive heart attack, Randal enlists his old friend Dante to help him make a movie immortalizing their youthful days at the little convenience store that started it all.
