Overall a charming gem making fun of the gangster movie stereotype. Jodie Foster is just great!
A timeless classic that never gets old. I loved it when I was a child and love it the same amount now.
I think I enjoyed this due to how odd it is rather than it being good. I had a fun time with it, but it is a strange little film.

It is a bit of a weird film, but the cast are all brilliant, and the songs are all great, couldn't ask for more, really :)
Sometimes a joke can go too far. It would've been fine as an sketch on a kids show but as a movie it's a cringe comedy to watch ironically.

The child actors telling an adult story is an interesting idea, but it’s troubling how it’s executed. They don’t soften any of the imagery.
