It feels absurd but I can't say it failed at what it was meant to achieve. So fkn crazy. Trailer is misleading btw.
Many very real aspects of of mental illness at its worst are displayed. Amazing acting, also bat ish crazy
Intense. Paranoid. Claustrophobic. Hell, in a motel room. Incredible performances. Expert direction. Insanity. Maybe 4 stars w/ future views

Absorbing, mind-bending, clever and mostly insane psychological horror film. The dialogues are splendid and the performances are top-notch.
Great movie, def one where they let Michael Shannon off leash. Gotta wonder where he channels his insanity from, cos it's very convincing 🙂
Michael Shannon is the best actor at displaying mental illness and he shows it here. His awkwardness with women is also very similar to me
It has some weak points but awesome in general - a maddening movie
