It’s not good in the slightest but better than it has any right to be given its universal panning at the time. Passable as entertainment.

A massive let down of a sequel. The director was screwed over by the studio, and the result is a boring, confusing mess of a movie.
There are some decent ideas at play here and the opening is pretty promising, but it goes down really quickly— fundamentally ruining the OG.
