This is absolutely my favourite movie of ALL time
A whole film build around rhythm and movement at times underscored with rhythmic beats of the people in this films world. It's funny too.
this is how samurai films should be made. no long fight sequences, stealth and style
It’s a mix of every emotion. Great soundtrack with good storytelling. Not the best CGI but cmon it’s 2003.
The inventive direction kinda saves this movie, although if you saw the original Zato Ichi series, you would probably be dissapointed
Great samurai movie but VERY shitty blood effects...like imovie bad blood effects, actually a red piece of paper would’ve looked better...
A mix of old-school samurai & Bollywood musical. Super weird & oddly boring despite everything they were throwing at the camera.
A great reboot of the Zatoichi legend. Takeshi is doing a great job, giving life to the blind swordsman.
It made me believe Japanese can make good movies with relatively little money. Beautiful and strong story.
