Honestly not that bad and goofy enough to redeem itself
Oh boy, even Jim Carrey couldn’t save this bomb. Tommy Lee Jones tries hard to be believable. Hold on the better Batman is coming. Just bad
While not as good as Burtons take on Batman, this one being more kid friendly, it’s still a solid film with some over the top performances
Mixed feelings about this! Hated the direction Joel took with the design + FX, Carrey does better as a hero, 2Face was lousy, but a Robin, ✅
Different choices with line delivery and in the editing room could've gone a long way here. As is, it's not bad, it's just not good either.
My guilty pleasure batman movie I just loved Jim Carrey as the riddler to much to hate this movie
Sometimes feels like a bad parody. But it have some decent moments too. Two Face and Riddler are well done thoe.
Jim Carrey saves this from being trash by injecting his character w/ enough pathos. Only watch this to see him steal and chew up scenes.
One of the better movies might realize until after how much better than most it is.
Has a bit of a Looney Tunes vibe. It’s bad, but not so bad that it’s already worth seeing.
A guilty pleasure of mine but a good time
Well, the costumes are unique. This was the directors forte. But the movie is garbage. Go watch the Tim Burton movies. Cheesy in a bad way.
Jim Carrey laugh* Carrey is the only decent part of this film...
Weak script, wooden performance from Kilmer. Strong vision that either gets too messy or falls flat. Carrey understood the assignment.
Lights and noises yet no way of telling what the hell is going on
Liked the gothic style of it even if it's cheesy
By all means it's awful, but it is a bizarre experience in so many areas that there's some watchability. Please don't watch this alone.
Yeah, it's bad, but at least it keeps things moving along with a misplaced but welcome sense of energy.
Maybe the directors cut is way better, but I’m thankful it’s not as campy as what follows. Val Kilmer was pretty good as Bruce Wayne/Batman
A little bit better than Batman and Robin, but not my cup of tea.
