Not a spoiler, but: I was not expecting this one to get as nightmarish as it does. John Goodman is tremendous.
At its core, Barton Fink feels like a ghost story, even though it’s not overly supernatural. I may be the only person who read it that way.
Such a good Coen flick, little bit of symbolism if you care or not though it doesn't matter too much
One of my favorite Coen films because of the sheer absurdity & side characters. Every character is unique and interesting & plot is twisty.
Still unsure of what I just watched. A witty and complex Coen Brothers script that leaves you scratching your head at the end of the film.
