languishing family drama With its impressive cast that includes Meryl Streep, it creates a deeply emotional experience about human's pain
I was loving this at first, but then the thing I was loving (Sam Shepard) was dispatched and I was left with a family I didn’t much like.
Incredible. If you like a proper messed up relationship drama, you need to watch this. It's based on a play.
Love this movie! Streep at her best and Roberts keeps up with her no problem. The dialogue is quick and sharp and the ending is eye opening
The actors in this film brought Sam Shepherd’s play to life on screen and filled it with carnage, raw intensity and heart. 10/10

The dysfunctional family is brought alive with stupendous casting. It feels of Sheppard, but does not give him much screen time.
