I was confused for 80% of the movie… white people are evil
Beautifully shot, but the imagery’s intent appears exploitative and aimless in nature, contradicting what it wants to say.
Have some potential with that twist, but meh. I expected more. Not bad idea

a bit too slow and we don’t know where the movie is going till 3/4 of the film but definitely TRUE horror. Can clearly bring up controversy.
Beautiful cinematography and honestly a solid start, but the unnecessary, long flashback was messy and lessened “The Village”-esque twist.
Could’ve been good but an obvious plot is treated as a mystery, dragging it out. Gabourey Sidibie is a gem though. Also way too brutal.
The film doesn’t have much to say like Get Out did, BUT the intrigue and mystery keep you glued. Also gorgeously shot and directed.
I didn’t love this one, but the idea that something like this being possible in this day and age is totally a possibility, and that’s freaky
