A good one man show about a man lost at sea.
Schauspielerische Glanzleistung. Spannung durch Ruhe.
Incredibly paced & the ocean setting is grippingly claustrophobic, but the film is pretty shallow and the execution is sloppy in places
Some details aside, eg lacking rope burn, Redford is good, if a little long in the tooth for the role. Well shot & scored on the whole. 6/10
Great survival story. Great acting by a top actor, but slow. This film is better suited to older viewers who like experiencing the journey.
Proves you don't need dialogue to make a tense emotionally engaging story. Redford is fantastic and the ending is beautiful
A tight, contained, human story. Surprisingly emotional for a nearly zero-dialogue script. Hell of a performance from Redford.
Perfect performance by Redford. Honestly makes the entire movie. Pro sailors might hate the beginning though.
Just amazing. Almost no dialogues. Just sequences and soundtrack doing their job
Watching this movie as a metaphor can bring a whole new meaning to life and spirituality. It's a journey of self exploration.
