Slow but still has intense moments. It’s dark tone and deliberate pace will lose some people but it is still a well made film about greed
A film about a Latin Man whose worked himself from the ground up facing unseeable obstacles. A good performance from Issac and a good story.
Great acting and casting is brilliant. Story is as old as time itself. Really made me long for the grittiness of pre-2000 NYC.
A slow, but engaging (and realistic) crime drama with amazing performances by Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain.
You’ve got great actors and good production value but the script is pretty bland. Coulda been great, just good.
A very good drama that keeps the tension rising
A great movie with an intriguing story, however it is a bit poorly paced at times
Gangster film that takes the perspective of the businesses affected.
Well-acted and well-crafted, but I feel like I don't even remember what happened, just that I liked it.
Not at all the film I thought it was going to be. Certainly still good, but more focused on slow tension building and character exposures.
