Watching this movie gives me a strange feeling. The breaking of fourth wall, the wise phrases and the dark cynicism makes this movie unique.
In the times of incels and pickup artists, this could be a didactic piece for many young men. But they'd surely misinterpret it.
Portrait of a clueless narcissist. Narcissists are usually happy. Not Alfie. Song asks 'What's it all about?' because Alfie is disconnected.
Caine’s portrayal of a self-absorbed womanizer facing some harsh realities is one for the ages. Surprisingly dark film touches on abortion.
