i was cheech and chonged through the whole film and let me tell you something it was the most beautiful film i’ve ever seen
Great french classic from true auteur Robert Bresson, inspring, suspenful and masterful. It narrates actual events.
Not my favorite b&w French prison escape story, possibly because of the focus on one dude, but still compelling. Not time wasted.

Impoverished priest Harihar Ray, dreaming of a better life for himself and his family, leaves his rural Bengal village in search of work.
