Documentary • NR • 2013 • 1 hr 36 min
Important band that nobody knew including me before I saw this. Wish I had known them when they were around.
Makes me realize how some bands like this would fade away if it wasn’t for documentary film
I’m happy to see any doc that talks about the Black roots of punk instead of skinheads. Solid shots, good info and well-paced
Just when you think you know every obscure band… BAM! Death hits you…
The story is amazing and inspiring, but the production is slow and tiring.
Recommended if you like punk and/or Searching For Sugar Man
A black punk band! This was a must watch.
To me, the band didn’t deserve a documentary this grandiose
Death is so unbelievably talented and underrated. They weren't 'protopunk'. They were full on real punks. Probably the first of their kind.
Similar to “searching for sugarman” but with a solid punk band. Uneven editing is a bit distracting too
