Brilliant casting. Captures the drama, spirit and energy from a unique time in sports history.
Vibrant dive into the dawn of the Showtime dynasty. Ensemble cast brings magic, celebrity and varnish to the dawn of 80s recklessness
A story about the greatest franchise in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers 💜💛
It has its flaws, but if you’re a basketball nerd like myself, you’re going to love every second of this show. A novel idea, we’ll executed
The building of a dynasty. Huge risks, huge rewards.
Well executed retro story telling. Everything about it feels like 1979.
Definitely worth a watch! Not your typical show, this show has really good potential and has a lot going on outside the game of basketball.
Fantastically well executed sports period drama with several uncanny portrayals. Ends abruptly after 2 seasons due to cancellation.
A hyperbolic over the top satirical capturing of the Lakers in the 80s. Extremely well casted. Not for basketball or documentary purists
I’m from Pittsburgh, so I don’t really care about the Lakers or the NBA, but I do love watching John C. Reilly work.
