From pencil to animation

Grougaloragran, a mysterious and ancient entity, appears one with a baby carriage. After defeating a mysterious foe with powers over time, who wants Grougaloragran's life force, or "Wakfu", Grougaloragran comes across Alibert, who is quitting his profession as a bounty hunter after almost taking a innocent man to jail. Grougaloragran leaves the baby carriage with Alibert, believing that he will be a good father to the baby inside. He also leaves a message for the adoptive father, along with a baby Tofu (Bird). 12 years later, Alibert has opened an inn and established a small town. The boy, now called Yugo, believes himself to be a ordinary boy until he discovers that he has the ability to create portals. He puts it to the test when a monster rampages though town, ending up at his Inn. Ruel, who was passing though town, teams up with Yugo and defeats the beast, which turns out to have been a Iop possessed by a demon trapped in an item, in this case a sword known as a Shushu. Alibert, seeing Yugo's power, decides to tell him the truth: that he is adopted and that his real family is out there somewhere.

The Child from the Mist

The village is attacked by Polters, creatures that turn humans into shrubs, Yugo and his team go to the Forbidden Forest to find out why the Polters are doing this. Inside they encounter the ruler of the forest, the Soft Oak, who plans to turn all humans into trees in revenge for the destruction his forest has suffered. Amalia, a member of Yugo's party, convinces Soft Oak that not all men are like this and that only free men can protect the forests. She then heals him with magic and he agrees to turn the shrubs back into humans. In the village, Yugo and his father are attacked by the time villain from 12 years ago, now revealed to be a Xelor named Nox. Nox manipulates time to age Alibert rapidly and he calls Yugo a Eliatrope, swearing to get Yugo's Wakfu one day. Alibert, knowing that Yugo deserves to know the truth, tells him that his real family, the Eliatrope race, are out there somewhere at a place called Oma Island. Yugo's friends agree to help him find his real family and stop Nox and set off for the adventure.

Yugo the Eliatrope

The group goes to Kelba's market in search of a map to begin their quest. When they arrive they find the marketplace under attack by the Black Crow. The groups learns about a shop run by Kabrok, a old adventurer who hung up his cape and became a stock boy, and Miranda, who is Kabrok's strict, but loving, wife. They have a map the group can buy, but are unable to sell thanks to the Black Crow. The heroes lay a trap for the Black Crow and are able to take him down. The Black Crow is revealed to be Kabrok, who was bored with his life, craved adventure again, and felt that attacking the local merchants was the way to get it. Kabrok and his wife sell the group a map.

The Black Crow

Lost, the group finds themselves in front of a tower belonging to four sisters who wish to find the perfect husband. Percedal, completely smitten just by the top of one of their heads, climbs up to get a kiss. When he gets to the top, he finds that the sisters are actually ugly because of a curse put on them after the picky girls had ridiculed every single suitor. To be cured, one of them must be kissed by a man, and they hold Percedal captive until they get their kiss. The group dons disguises to get inside the tower. The nine of them decide to hold a little contest to see who will get the kiss from Pinpin, which ends up being pure torture. Things quickly go wrong when Eva enrages the sisters and causes them to attack the group. Freeing Pinpin, the group flees with the aid of one of the sisters, who believes that they got what they deserved and is sorry for what they did to Pinpin. As they flee, Pinpin blows the sister a kiss, which turns the sisters and their tower back to normal.

The Ugly Pageant

The group comes across a village of Puddles, cephalopod-like gelatinous creatures that turn into puddles. They are constantly attacked by a pack of Taures Bullies, wild bovine beasts that constantly raid their village for food. The group manages to fight them off, but know they will return as they always have. Not wanting to turn a blind eye to turmoil, and needing food themselves, the group decide to help train the Puddles so they can be ready for the next raid. The Bullies attack again, but the group, along with the Puddles, quickly overpower them. However, the Bullies brought one of their leaders, their father, Mandhal the Mighty. He proves to be a tough foe, even having his own beam attack, but Yugo uses his portal to deflect Father's beam attack back at him. With Father defeated, and worried about Mother finding out, the Bullies flee, leaving the Puddles to live in peace.

The Magnificent Five

With no other route to take, the group is forced to pass though an inhospitable town full of decay and zombie-like townsfolk. Vampyro, a vampire, comes to claim Eva as his wife, by using a magical ring to take her shadow, i.e. her soul. The group launches a rescue mission, avoiding ghouls launched by Vampyro. While scaling his castle, the group is overrun by vampire bats. Percedal volunteers to stay behind while the others go to rescue Eva. They arrive and find that Vampyro is using Eva's body as a vessel for his true love, Shadofang. Vampyro uses his shadow stealing powers on Ruel, turning him into a beast that Amalia eventually defeats. Amalia, Yugo, and Percedal fight Vampyro, but he proves to be too powerful. However, during the fight, they discover his weakness: he's allergic to Az, their mascot. the group uses Az to their advantage, overpowering Vampyro and getting the ring off of him. He turns back to his original self, a magistrate named Wagner. His release also turns the town and the townspeople back to normal and returns the shadows of Eva and Ruel.

Vampyro

Amalia is bitten by a poisonous Red Rose. Ruel says that his old friend, an Eniripsa named Nausica, lives nearby and can help heal her. They learn that the only cure to a Red Rose bite is sap from the rare Severum tree, which is located deep in the nearby Maleficent forest. Ruel and Yugo leave to gather the sap while Percedal and Eva stay behind to help care for Amalia. Not long after Ruel and Yugo leave, Amalia's doll goes berserk, attacking Nausea, Percedal, and Eva. It merges with Rubilax, turning into a monstrous demon. The trio overpower it, forcing Rubilax out and cutting the doll up into pieces, but the pieces turn into other dolls and attack in masses. In the forest, Ruel and Yugo are attacked by giant Venus flytraps, but are saved by a forest dweller named Sybannak. They are forced to help her in exchange for the sap, but when the tasks become tedious and monotonous, Ruel instead decides to steal some sap. Enraged, Sybannak attacks with the Venus flytrap monsters. Rue and Yugo escape with the sap and return to Nausea's where they save Amalia and return the dolls back to normal.

Poisonous Beauty

Following a very delicious smell, the group finds a man attacking a beast made entirely out of bread. They mistake the man for the attacker, only to later find out that the man, a innocent baker named Xav, was attacked by Breadnaughts who were after the rare Golden Wheat stored in his barn. Before the attack, Xav was going to enter a bread baking contest with the special wheat which is thought to produce exquisite bread. Wanting to fix their mistake, Yugo decides to help Xav make the bread while the others harvest the wheat. They enter the competition and with Yugo's help, Xav wins. The Breadnaught inadvertently reveals that she is Chouquette, Xav's father's former apprentice, and that she was after the wheat because she is in love with her master and wanted him to win.

Xav the Baker

The group is staying at Xav's place, and getting some tips on how to deal with Grufon from its original master, Gonnard the Great. A traveling herald passes though and tells the group that kamas (gold coins) are being stolen throughout the land. Ruel, afraid his own Kamas will be stolen, retreats into his magical bag, and uses a recall potion to return home. The others, Gonnard included, follow after him. They discover his home is built into a clay mesa and has a special code to keep intruders out and keep his stash of Kamas hidden. Gonnard reveals himself to be a shapeshifting genie that turns into whatever he eats, and as he eats kamas, he's as hard as gold. He overpowers the group and eats more kamas. Ruel, not one to give up his kamas, tricks him into eating chocolate coins instead. Gonnard eats them and turns into chocolate. Ruel traps him inside a glass vase and leaves Gonnard in his vault.

Ruel's Bag

Upon arriving to the city of Bonta, Yugo & co. try to buy a boat to get them to Oma Island, but it's expensive. So Ruel enters them in gobbowl match, with his old team, Real Gobbly, against professional player Kriss Krass & his team, Lamechester United.

Having bought the boat with the kamas they earned in Bonta, Yugo and his friends go finally on the island of Oma. Only, it would seem that there is a stowaway on board of the ship, a passenger with willful intentions...

Calm Blue Sea

In the course of their trip at sea, the five friends encounter a terrible tempest and their boat is wrecked on an island. Yugo, Amalia and Evangelyne disembark in search of food, but primitive Sadida take them in hostage: these are Kaniboules! And it seems that they have the poor habit to give the foreigners in sacrifice in their godhead: big Moon... This smells bad for our heroes!

Moon Island

Amalia, Tristepin and Evangélyne wake up on a tiny islet. The boat was attacked by a mythical living being, Kralamoure Géant, and sank into the abyss. By way of islet, there is a huge and green island protected by an ancient fate of invisibility. The mysterious island of Oma where there should be the true family of Yugo.

Adamai

Yugo continues his exploration of the island of Oma with Adamaï, his brother dragon. During this time, by surveying the caverns, the companions discover the ruins of a very ancient temple kept by a terrible dragon! Stopping at nothing, the Grouilleux de Nox heads to the island!

The Eliacube

The battle between the dragon Grougaloragran and Nox rages. Having been sent to the ice of the big North, Yugo and his friends wait for the end of this ultimate battle, feeling tension because it is the World of Twelve that is at stake!

Grougaloragran the Eternal

Grougaloragram failed... Our friends have to be divided into two groups: on one hand, Ruel, Tristepin, Amalia and Evangelyne set off towards the kingdom Sadida to tell them about the threat which Nox represents, on the other Yugo and Adamaï which go looking for the Dofus in which Grougaloragran is going to reincarnate...

The Brotherhood of the Tofu

Since the departure of Amalia, the kingdom Sadida changed. The king is away and it is therefore Armand de Sheran Sharm, the brother of Amalia who governs the kingdom. During this time, Yugo and his brother Adamaï are still in search of the Dofus of Grouraloragran, but they do not know that Nox sent a formidable enemy in their wake...

The Sadida Kingdom

The king Sadida is in the sanctum of the Tree of life, heart of the Kingdom Sadida which is mysteriously sick. Overstepping the ban of the prince Armand, Amalia and Evangelyne go to the King to tell it about the imminent attack of the Kingdom by Nox. But things do not turn out as they had envisaged it... During this time, Ruel searches a means to get away from the prison cell into which he was unfairly thrown...

The Tree of Life

Yugo and his brother Adamaï arrive on the famous island where Grougaloragran would have hidden the Dofus. Wanting to know about it more on his powers of Eliatrope, Yugo launches into a crossing of the Desert. But It would seem that the hunter of Nox, Igôle, has arrived on the island.

Having hurt Evangelyne by employing from Rubilax in the Kingdom Sadida, our Iop finishes his escape in the desert and goes looking for the tomb of his ancient Master: Goultard. To his surprise, Goultard is not dead. Our Iop brain is going to discover how to become a true Shushu Guardian... He has to confront Rubilax and make him fear him.

Yugo and Adamaï reach the goal of their trip finally: the secret shrine in which Grougaloragran hid his Dofus. There, they make the acquaintance of the guardian of the Dofus. But Igôle did not die, contrary to what our heroes thought...

The Quest for the Dofus

The kingdom Sadida is on the brink of war, getting ready for the unavoidable attack of Nox. It is necessary to prevent the clock of Xélor from teleporting to the island at all costs. Amalia and Evangelyne wait without hoping too much for the return of their companions...

Reunion

Nox and his troops land on the island. The Xélor attacks without deferring more from the purpose of his crusade: Wakfu contained in the Tree of Life. But the heart of the kingdom Sadida is protected by the colossal plant wall of the protective trees. Also the The Brotherhood of Tofu is in pursuit... Together, they well intend to hold the line.

I Am A Legend

The line did not hold and final battle to protect the Tree of Life begins. Our heroes have a last trump: Yugo and his brother Adamaï entered the clock without Nox knowing with the crazy hope of taking over Eliacube, source of the power of the Xélor. Everything rests on their shoulders...

Yugo is reunited with his father. Evangelyne believes that Percedal isn't dead and that she hears his voice. Ruel gets in trouble while looking for treasure underground.

When a large pandawa arrives at the door of Tristepin and Evangelyne in the middle of a snowstorm, the family's life is turned upside down. Yugo and Ruel continue to seek out Adamai who has been missing since the battle against Ogrest. In the Sadida kingdom, Amalia stands vigil at the side of her dying father when Yugo and Ruel arrive bearing bad news.

Falling Down

Having faced off against Adamai, Tristepin, Rubilax and Elely lie at the bottom of a ravine out in the snow. Dragging her father to safety, Elely takes on the pandawa head to head. Literally. In order to save his life, Pinpin makes a deal with Rubi.

Like Father, Like Daughter

Yugo, Amalia, Ruel, and Pinpin and Elely march towards Oropo's tower to rescue Evangelyne and Flopin. When Elely triggers a trap, the group are suspended in a temporal zone where each step ages them. Oropo probes the minds of the group, causing them to face their darkest fears.

The gang, traumatized by the time bubble, enter Oropo's tower to rescue Eva and Flopin. Inside they meet an Osamodas girl, who tries to convince Elely that Oropo and his brotherhood are actually good.

Beastly Girl

The gang arrive at the Iop floor of the tower, which turns out to be protected by a corrupted Goultard, who goes by the name, "Dark Vlad". Percedal decides to fight him on his own and the fight brings back some memories of the moments the two of them shared.

A Iop Hides Himself to Cry

Yugo, Amalia, Ruel, and Elely arrive at the Ecaflip floor of the tower. Its protector is Kerubim and Atcham's brother, Ush. Being an Ecaflip, he loves to gamble and invites the gang to play a deadly game.

The Ecaflip's Scratching Post

The gang continue their journey to the top of the tower. At the Feca floor, they encounter a demigod named Bump. He is willing to let them pass without fight, but he has a peculiar condition: he wants Yugo, Ruel and Amalia's pants to add to his underwear collection.

Pinball Hazard

Arriving at the Enutrof floor, the gang find four doors, so they decide to split up in order to find the exit quicker. Along his way, Ruel reminisces about his youth and a girl he once loved named Arpagone. Ruel encounters Arpagone, who takes him captive so that a fake one can infiltrate the group. The Fake Ruel converses with Yugo about his love for Amalia, wondering if she'd ever feel the same ever she ever stopped the stubborn princess routine.

Arpagone

Yugo, Amalia, Elely, and fake Ruel arrive at the Sadida floor wherethey meet the Demi-God of the race, revealing that she doesn't want to fight, but to talk. She discovers the Fake Ruel among their party and captures him. Arpagone tries to convince the real Ruel to join her and Oropo. Evangelyne and Flopin manage to escape their prison but are intercepted by Toxine and Echo. Echo tries to persuade them to come back, but Toxine electrocutes her and chains her up as her hate for Echo trumps everything else. She goes into a sadistic fight against Flopin and Eva and they somehow manage to fight her off but launching her into a Well of Shadows – a representation of her own soul, dark, evil, and chaotic – but she fires an energy bolt as she falls in, striking Eva in the womb and electrocuting her.

The Sadida Temple

Thanks to Toxine, Evangelyne goes into labor while the baby's godly powers activate, causing untold pain as she prepares to give birth with help from Echo, who is able to minimize the pain. The baby, having a demigod's strength, causes the tower to crumble from the shockwaves it emanated during labor. Only Oropo's power is preventing the tower itself from collapsing, but only barely. He sends Adamai to find the cause, finding it to be the son that is coming. He decides to keep them safe from the crumbling debris around them so that he and Echo can have a conversation later. Eva gives birth to a boy, ending the shockwaves and the pain, but the tower is in shambles. Oropo and Adamai set the pieces with those alive gently on the ground, allowing everyone to reunite and for Percedal to meet his new son. Before she could head over, however, Fake Ruel knocks out Amalia and transforms into a fake Amalia, sending the real one to Oropo.

When the Walls Fall Down

Along with Amalia and sharing a tender kiss, Oropo tells the story of his birth, revealing his true identity and the motivation behind his actions. When Yugo used the Eliatrope Dofus' to help Percedal battle Ogrest, he had inadvertently created a time loop in which a shadow race, the Eliotropes, were created long ago. They were essentially copies of Yugo, but they slowly began to die off, leaving Oropo as the last.

Oropo

Oropo is about to open the Hyperzaap and use it to destroy the gods. As he reveals his true intentions and the fact that he lied to everyone, with the Sadida Demi-Goddess revealing that it was he who set the world's tragedies into motion, such as Nox finding the Eliacube and Ogrest turning into the demon he was, his brotherhood of demigods start to turn against him. He uses his powers to send Yugo into a coma, where he confronts his demons in the forms of Qilby and Nox, who he had been suffering waking nightmares from since he arrived at the tower.

The Hyperzaap

The Brotherhood of the Tofu and the demigods join forces to stop Oropo from killing the gods in a final battle that will decide the fate of the World of Twelve, and the universe. After a climatic battle, Oropo activates the Hyperzaap. In a last act of self-sacrifice, Echo uses her powers to send Yugo's group and the Demi-Gods though the Hyperzaap, leaving her and Oropo, who still loves her, to die as the Eliacube creates a massive black hole that destroys Oropo's dimension. Yugo and his friends find themselves in Inglorium, the realm of the gods.

Inglorium

As strange eyes appear over different regions of the World of Twelve, the Brotherhood of the Tofu moves through the devastated landscape of Ingloriom towards a temple bathed in an intriguing glow. They have no idea who they're about to meet in the ruins of this dimension, let alone the revelations that await Yugo in the only temple left standing.

Far from the World

Inside the temple, the Goddess Eliatrope welcomes her sons and their friends. Still exhausted from their recent fight with Oropo, the group decides to split up and return to the World of Twelve.

The Goddess of Love

Back in the Sadida Kingdom, Amalia learns some tragic news. Meanwhile, Yugo is getting to know his sister a little better. Far across the World of Twelve, an old man continues his journey. And at the Stroud home, Ruel wakes up to a very unpleasant surprise.

A New World

The World of Twelve's leaders gather in response to recent events. Accompanied by his mother, Yugo tries to explain their reasoning to the assembled dignitaries. Unfortunately, his words don't have the desired effect. Meanwhile, a new threat draws closer to the Sadida Kingdom.

The Assembly

As Necros approach Albuera Island, Armand and Amalia are horrified to see the destruction that the creatures have wrought in their kingdom. But that's only the start of the troubles that Yugo and his friends will soon be drawn into. Elsewhere, the Sadlygrove family receives a most unusual visit.

Necromas

Amalia and Yugo, confronted with a new wave of Necros in the Sadida Kingdom, try to repel the assault. Meanwhile, on Albuera Island, another attack is underway, led by an enormous Necro Dragon. The monsters are getting dangerously close to shore.

RotalStröm

Evangelyne takes the time to listen to Madagaskane, despite a bit of hesitation. Meanwhile, Yugo starts negotiations with the leaders of the World of Twelve to get their help against the Necros.

Toross Mordal

Convinced that Qilby is involved in the appearance of the Necro portals, Yugo tries to confront him. He and his friends then travel to the Necroworld where they meet a powerful being with a thirst for Wakfu.

Traitor

Yugo finds himself trapped in the Necroworld at the mercy of Toross Mordal, who has no qualms about subjecting him to various forms of vicious torture. Meanwhile, at the Eliatrope Temple, things take a rough turn for the rest of the group when Qilby disappears with the six Eliatrope Dofus.

Lokus

Nora finds herself in a difficult spot as the fight between Qilby and Lokus continues in the Eliatrope Temple. Meanwhile, Yugo, still imprisoned by the Necros, is locked in a fierce battle with himself.

My Brother, My King

Yugo gathers all the members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu. After reuniting with Ruel and then the Sadlygrove family, Yugo and his friends return to the Sadida Kingdom to prepare for the final assault against the Necros.

Together

The Necros' attack on the Sadida Kingdom is imminent. The Brotherhood of the Tofu is ready to face them, together with the Eliatrope and the Sadida armies. The final battle to defend the Sadida Kingdom has begun. Yugo and his friends do everything they can to push back the Necros, but they're in for an epic battle gainst these Wakfu-devouring monsters.

Armand

The war with Necros continues... Yugo and his friends must redouble their efforts to stop Toross Mordal and his army. Peace will never return to the World of Twelve until the invasion of the Wakfu eaters has been thwarted.

Consecration

Goultard is a carefree young Iop, he went to play with his friends in the Evil Forest. Unfortunately for them, this place is very dangerous and they meet a bull who intends to make them his meal. However, Goultard does not seem to be an ordinary child, his strength is Herculean and he terraces him by sending him through the air to the central square of his village.

Episode 2

Once, Noximilien was an ordinary clock maker with a loving wife and 3 beautiful children who has a lot of debt and a very nosy debt collector. One day, while showing his family a new invention, the family dog Igol goes missing, having run into a cave. Noximilien chases after him and falls into a cavern with a glowing pond. The glow is coming from a mysterious cube; the Eliacube. He leaves it behind at the behest of his wife, but his mind cannot leave it alone. He goes back and takes it. He spends the next few months studying it, trying to crack its secrets, ignoring his family. His research turns into obsession; his body begins to wither from malnutrition, his movements become more erratic, and his mind becomes unstable. One day, his wife leaves him, taking the children with her to stay with her sisters on an island offshore. Believing he made a mistake, Noximilien tries to leave, but the allure of the Eliacube was too much.

On a faraway island, Otomai carries out yet another magical experiment... which fails! Well, it’s not a complete failure, as it produces Ogrest, a very special baby ! Boasting incredible strength and an equally huge appetite, this little ogre will learn very quickly that he is different from other children. Wandering alone one day, he meets Dathura, a Sadida doll, and it’s love at first sight! Unfortunately, his new love falls victim to an evil that plunges her into a deep sleep. Listening only to his heart, Ogrest sets off on a search for an antidote!

Ogrest the Legend

It's already six years after our heroes saved the World of Twelve from Qilby. They've all taken the opportunity to settle down into a peaceful existence. None could imagine what awaits them.

A strange messenger has come to inform Yugo, Adamai, Ruel, and then Percedal's family, that Princess Amalia, needs them : Ogrest is having another crying fit, which is flooding a huge part of the Sadida Kingdom. Worse still, the six Eliatrope Dofus, the only things capable of stopping him, have gone missing!

Only two of the precious eggs have been located: they're being held by the odious Count Harebourg, lord of Frigost Island. He's agreed to give them back in exchange for Amalia's hand in marriage. Ready to do anything to save her people, Amalia accepts his offer and the entire Brotherhood accompanies her to Frigost.

The Quest for the Six Dofus Eliatropes - Book 1: The Throne of Ice

In this 2nd episode, our heroes held captive in Harebourg's icy prison, discover Joris, Kerub, and Atcham trapped in blocks of ice. Once freed, the prisoners explain how they came into possession of the six Eliatrope Dofus, and how they lost them.

The members of a mysterious brotherhood, the Forgotten Fraternity, took them. To what end? No one seems to know. But t they've worked since the beginning of time to write history as they want it written...

While Otomai and Adamai continue their quest for Dofus in the Kingdom of the Winds, Yugo joins Joris, Atcham and Kerub to explore the Ecaflip Dimension. Amalia, Ruel, Percedal and his family go back to the Sadida Kingdom to save it from the waters...

The Quest for the Six Dofus Eliatropes - Book 2: Ush

In this last Episode, getting back to the Sadida Kingdom, Yugo discovers that Percedal has decided to directly attack the root cause of the problem: the terrifying Ogrest. The Iop warrior has gone to Mount Zinit. To Yugo, it's obvious they must go help him, no matter the cost.

But strangely, his brother, Adamai, doesn't agree. Did his visit to the Kingdom of the Winds disturb him? No matter! It's time for actions, not questions! Yugo has made his decision : he'll go help Percedal, with or without Adamai! The destiny of the World of Twelve is in our heroes' hands, now more than ever.
