One of my Dads favorite shows. I was fascinated by this show not really understanding the full scope of what war was. Early documentaries
The best world-war 2 documentary ever made. Comprehensive and detailed, it has an episode on every war theatre
One of the best depictions of the war. True masterpiece.
Impressive footage, but way too slow and heavy. Hard to stay focused for long stretches.
It’s good information and footage, but the presentation was unfortunately too dated to keep me engaged. I could not stop falling asleep.
Great deep dive into WWII. It’s length is totally justified and it’s grim subject matter is treated with the utmost respect.
Pioneering multi episode documentary series still stands up today. Balanced coverage unlike the patriotic newsreel footage of WW2 itself.
Great documentary.
Very interesting
