Amazing performance. Well-paced & excellent storytelling. Production values from costume, sets, hair and makeup fantastic. A+ cinematography
Intriguing, psychological and emotional
Anya is wonderful in this role, and the story is presented so well that I’m sure I’m not the only one now interested in chess
Took a bit to get into, and it is a bit long, but everything else is amazing. Anya Taylor was amazing.
Made me want to persue a chess career after watching it. Also makes you feel smart even though you definitely aren't.
Started watching it and can't stop. You feel like you've truly entered a different time. Very deep story. Love it!
I liked it a lot! In my opinion, however, it failed to live up to the hype. 8/10
award-winning mini-series; a riveting character study; exceptional acting, cinematography; viewer need not play chess; better than the book
Excellent characters. Decent drama. You don't have to care about chess to enjoy it. It won't blow anyone's mind, but it will entertain.
It's a great story and it's realistic. One of the best series I've seen so far, I really reccomend it.
