A tense and historical authentic thriller, portrays a brutal Adversarywhose sole is as dark as can be. The story is Excellent a must see.

Amazing acting done by the two lead performers. A slow paced examination of endurance and misery on the cold sea. Excellent

Colin Farrell and Jack O’Connell carry The North Water with raw, unforgettable intensity.

Farrell is absolutely gripping as a brutal depiction of man at his worst. A couple of plot points aside, this is great TV. 8/10

If you like gritty period pieces with dark themes, here you go….

Great acting and cinematography. Last couple of episodes were rushed.

Another vehicle for Farrell to throw off his pretty boy image. Dark and depressing, well made and acted, one time only watch for me.

I couldn't bring myself to watch more than 3 episodes...I'm an animal lover and i wanted to cry n yell while they harpoon innocent creatures
