Ethan Hawke is the charismatic and deeply religious John Brown. A fantastic series from start to finish. One of the best series around.
One of the best things I’ve ever seen. Ethan Hawke is perfect, intense and oftentimes hilarious. The history is very interesting.
Decent miniseries adaptation of an excellent novel could have used a stronger actor than Hawke as John Brown.
