Middle of the road comedic political satire with standout performances from Jack Black and Tim Robbins.
Dark comedy satire that never quite gets its footing. Robbins and Black are good but their characters are one-dimensional.
Unsophisticated political satire lacks compelling performances. Tonal balance is also pretty bad.
It needed a second season, one wasn't enough.
A fairly good political satire in the same vein of “Wag the Dog” and “Thank You For Smoking.” Cancelled really before it could develop.
Really should've been better.
