One of the most disappointing shows I can remember.
Positioned as a sexy intellectual thriller but devolved into mediocrity. The main character followed a similar trajectory.
Promising premise & slick look, not high-end tho. Weak execution, math errors and unrealistic scenes make it hard to stay engaged.
it's weird, because it looks like a high end production, but... the writing is often "huh?" and many scenes are like "whoops! reshoot? no??"
Starts fast, has a slower second act, then picks up at the end,but it doesn’t fully deliver. Needs 2nd season, but iffy it will get one.
So goooooood!
