Joey and Michael, who fought over the same woman 13 years ago now have, upon her death, been awarded joint custody of her daughter - who might be either of theirs. So how do the men settle their problems? With a paternity test? No way. Instead, they all move in together to raise Nicole as a two-dad nuclear family. Under the watchful eye of the family court judge, dads and daughter adjust to their new situation.

After being burgalarized Joey and Michael create their own watch program so Nicole will safe. But it's Michael who's feeling apprehensive and leads to being trapped on the roof.

When Judge Wilbur's going to be honored, Joey, Michael, and Nicole think that it would nice for some her friends and family were there. So they do a little snooping around and find some of her things that were hidden and in it is a picture of her and someone named Louis and they thought he was a friend so they invite him. Only thing he came under the assumption that they told her that he was and when they meet, Judge Wilbur's not happy to see him. They (Joey, Michael, and Nicole) learn that he's her ex-husband. It seems that years ago she thought her career was more important, so they went their separate ways. They arrange for her and Louis to be alone together, and they make peace.

You Only Surprise the Ones You Love

Nicole learns she's not considered part of the in crowd and considers extreme measures to change her status. Joey's girlfriend won't accept their breakup so he makes up a new romance.

Kind of a Drag

Nicole enters a Rock TV music channel contest in which Nicole wins and gets to go on a musical dream date of her choice... and her dads get to live out their own fantasies in the process.  Michael playing the piano live in front of a national TV audience, and Joey playing basketball.. with Dr. J?
