Dark BBC-style Eurothriller just isn’t very well written. Benefits from solid acting, particularly from Friel, but its plots are haphazard.
Pretty good mystery with some frustrating but good characters
Felt predictable and I wasn’t very drawn to the characters. Sort of hard to get into
A bit of a harsh review - I did watch a little more than a season - but on the whole the characters were hard to appreciate, not great
Started out great, but it got a bit too unrealistic for my taste
Marcella is a good, British crime drama that features a strong female lead. At times the plot seems to drag, but it is entertaining enough.
The unraveling of a lovely weirdo with a british crime backdrop.
So dark, she might be the worst best cop ever!! How she kept her job I will never know but all 3 series are amazing
Slow, dark amazing story lot's of twists
Ordinary English police drama. Engaging tense and solid British performance

The Bletchley Circle follows the journey of four ordinary women with extraordinary skills that helped to end World War II. Set in 1952, Susan, Millie, Lucy and Jean have returned to their normal lives, modestly setting aside the part they played in producing crucial intelligence, which helped the Allies to victory and shortened the war. When Susan discovers a hidden code behind an unsolved murder she is met by skepticism from the police. She quickly realises she can only begin to crack the murders and bring the culprit to justice with her former friends. The Bletchley Circle paints a vivid portrait of post-war Britain in this fictional tale of unsung heroes.
