When you are uncomfortable the way it was intended. Good selection of actors and location
The young cast is great. My rating is based purely on the use of fish-eye lens which caused nausea and I had to switch off. Needs a warning.
Impressive casting and production design. But I never fully clicked with it. The story feels stretched thinner than it needed to be.
Weird cgi, a weird remake of a story that's been done to death
I don’t understand the hate, thought it was well executed, kids did great job acting. Captures alot of emotion without words.
Very good acting by the children, portraying the malice and morbidity of killing and the violence for mere play is very impressive
The yuppie kid acting is off the charts bad.
Cast well. Acted well. Visually pretty but distracting and CGI was real bad at times. Nice score. You know the story, not pleasant.
Did not like this version. It’s kind of a dumbing down of the story. 1970s and 1980s versions are much better.
