the 1st sitcom with the weird 7 or so mismatched characters stuck together premise a la Taxi and Community

This sitcom is a staple of classic TV. Contrived characters can be funny but get old quickly, with many similar conflicts occurring often.

Not very funny, not very entertaining, not worth your time.

Good clean family fun. We all grew up on the re-runs.

My parents would watch it when I was growing up. I found about half of the characters annoying, so I never got into it.

Undeniably an iconic classic burrowed deep into the American pop culture psyche. But also: really dumb.

You will never get this theme song out of your head.

Fun little show i watched when i was young and it was funny but now its just alright

Classic show that has stayed on the air doing reruns for so long because of how it transcends the era it was in. Good, wholesome, campy fun.

I grew up watching shows like this thanks to my parents. While I enjoyed a good amount of them, this is one I just didn't care for.

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is an American children's television series that was created and hosted by namesake Fred Rogers. The series originated in 1963 as Misterogers on CBC Television, and was later debuted in 1966 as Misterogers' Neighborhood on the regional Eastern Educational Network, followed by its US network debut on February 19, 1968, and it aired on NET and its successor, PBS, until August 31, 2001. The series is aimed primarily at preschool ages 2 to 5, but has been stated by PBS as "appropriate for all ages". Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was produced by Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA public broadcaster WQED and Rogers' non-profit production company Family Communications, Inc.; previously known as Small World Enterprises prior to 1971, the company was renamed The Fred Rogers Company after Rogers' death.

While on a mission, American astronaut Captain Tony Nelson is forced to make an emergency landing that will forever change his life. On a deserted South Pacific island, Captain Nelson happens upon a bottle containing a beautiful two-thousand-year-old female genie named Jeannie. Rescuing her from the bottle nets Tony the requisite three wishes, and then some, when Jeannie pledges total devotion to her new "master".
