Naota is a normal boy who kills some time with a normal girl by a stream that flows underneath a bridge. Nothing unusual happens in this town. The fact that Haruhara Haruko crashes into the main character with her Vespa a short while later and subsequently hits him over the head with her Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar doesn’t really make any difference to any other day here. The at first glance unconnected, bizarre events that don’t seem to follow any pattern whatsoever don’t change anything about Naota’s boring life, either – because nothing incredible ever happens in this town.

User Reviews
pure craziness. so enjoyable and fun to watch
Great coming of age story filled with many visual metaphors and allegories. There is nothing like this show. Worth it.
I actually can't explain it. Either you love it or you dont. And if you do love it...OH MY GOD ITS AMAZING
Such an amazing story with great graphics to go along with it
There is nothing like it out there and besides its novelty, it's a deeply sympathetic depiction of puberty and self discovery.
Funny but really confusing and easy to miss stuff
It’s pretty crazy, but quite visually pleasing.
in a league of its own. It’s only 6 episodes so check it out
The most early 2000’s thing I’ve ever seen and it’s enjoyable start to finish
It's short but amazing. Animation still holds up after all of these years. The plot might require a rewatch.
