Modern story inspired by an historical figure. This isnt an accurate period piece, but it is entertaining and different.
I think this is definitely for the young adult audience, it's got that villanelle/eve relationship vibe going on (without the psycopathy).
The acting is phenomenal, and I love how the show incorporates real poems from Emily Dickinson into each episode
The show is quite good and I suggest to watch even if some of the characters get on your nerves *cough sue cough*

Such a good story and knowing that this was real breaks my heart she was in love and she couldn't show that to anyone, but Hailee is amazing
