Columbo is a friendly, verbose, disheveled-looking police detective who is consistently underestimated by his suspects. Despite his unprepossessing appearance and apparent absentmindedness, he shrewdly solves all of his cases and secures all evidence needed for indictment. His formidable eye for detail and meticulously dedicated approach often become clear to the killer only late in the storyline.

Best Detective series to ever exist. period!
Simple but full of details. A good watch
One of the best detective shows ever. Clever writing, a who's who of guest stars. Oh, and just one more thing: Peter Falk... ineffable.
Original detective series, not a “who done it”, but always how Columbo solves the crime. Fun to watch!, “oh one more thing ma'am….”
Never a “who done it”, but intrigue was developed as the criminal always underestimated Columbo’s ability to solve the crime.
While the plots are predictable, every frame is hung on the play between Columbo and the straight man.
31/2* Falk is Columbo, a detective who plays dumb, smokes smelly cigars, wears rumpled overcoat. Campy plots, guest stars. Fun escapism.
Classic TV Detective, about cheese th Best
Great series, great main actor! Watch this when you want to see something intriguing and vintage.
Astronomically overrated by so many people! Give me CSI Euro Disney for 5 seasons over this dull as ditchwater dated drama!
