The effects need some work but it's Netflix you can't be mad
Liberties were taken, but I’m excited for book 2!
Better than the movie don't get me wrong. I'd continue watching it if Netflix keeps renewing it.
A decent adaptation - as expected not as good as the animated series, but significantly better than the film
On it's own, it's decent. Next to the original, it's meh.
I think it’s awesome to see the real life version of the show I really enjoyed watching as a teen.
My first foray into the Avatar universe, and it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the costumes and CGI, personally. Look forward to more.
Watch the animated show instead. It’s not terrible, but somehow less nuanced than a cartoon. Dialogue is often worse; a huge meh.

Not really for me, but it's definitely decent. It looks great, though there was plenty I didn't really like, it's still good, tho.
