My favorite movie. Amazing story, brilliant acting and it conveys the beauty and absurdity of tragedy perfectly
A great take on Nikos Kazantzakis’ novel of the same name. Zorba and Basil are great, except the movie loses some luster of the novel.
Anthony Quinn’s great, but the movie didn’t impact me much beyond that.
Quinn is remarkable. The film is a bit dated but the message is beautiful.
It may be outdated, but Anthony Quinn is memorable as full of life, lusty, magnetic, and sexy dancer with glorious Greek music.
Great performance by the actor but still boring as hell.
The music is perfect.
