Perhaps I am not as familiar with Baum, but this almost has nothing to do with Wizard of Oz other than the title an a scarecrow.
The obvious caveat here is it looks like it was made for 15 dollars. If you can get past that, it's an effective, atmospheric weird movie.
Haunting atmosphere, great buildup, and actors make you believe all of it. Granted some of it is lackluster, but given the budget it's great
First “so bad it’s good” funny, then boring, then Lynchian. I enjoyed the ending but it’s very inconclusive and many don’t
Not good but Mitton's gotten better--We Go On is terrific.
This is so bad in every way. The icing on the cake is that there's an unbearable high-pitched noise that goes on for 20 minutes at the end.
