Not the best rendition of Wuthering Heights, but not the worst either.
i’m so glad the director spiced up the original story a tad bit because the one thing i too thought this novel was missing was necrophilia
Heathcliff, the moody bastard and Catherine- so hard to please...what’s not to like?
I appreciate the minimalist approach that this film took. Passion depicted through interaction is more meaningful than flowery dialogue.
Scodelario does her best, but the movie is awful as an adaptation. The book is much more powerful and passionate!
too slow and boring. Kaya scodelario is perfect for the part though

Depressing & boring, just like the book. At least they actually acknowledge that Heathcliff is a person of color, and not white.
Kinda boring , slow and the second half is empty
Weirdly erotic and tense scenes and seeing Effy in a ball gown was a fever dream
