Promising premise, but bad execution. Script and direction is lacking. Quan is charming, but it's not enough.
Entertaining enough, but seriously held down by completely superfluous subplots. Lead characters are likeable though and the action is fun.
Stuntwork in this movie is reminiscent of early Jackie Chan films, but it has a pretty predictable plot. Overall an enjoyable movie.
Not as bad as some people say, but overall forgettable. But if you like goofy, violent action, this movie has tons of it
Everyone knows how action romcoms work, yet every scene is wasted, every moment unearned, and I don't understand how they whiffed this hard.
I adore Sean and Ke Huy but even they couldn’t save this.

Good action scenes but the humor mostly misses and the love story feels shoehorned in. Sean Astin also steals every scene he's in.
