In 1960, a hardy group of prep school students boards an old-fashioned sailing ship. With Capt. Christopher Sheldon at the helm, the oceangoing voyage is intended to teach the boys fortitude and discipline. But the youthful crew are about to get some unexpected instruction in survival when they get caught in the clutches of a white squall storm.

Slow in the beginning, some unnecessary storylines, and annoying characters. However, when that wave hits, things get pretty impressive.
Pretty good movie, despite most of the sentimental moments being downright corny.
Ridley Scott’s old-fashioned adventure yarn is surprisingly great. Think Dead Poets Society meets Kon Tiki. Bridges is reliably awesome!
Visually stunning but lacks depth in its characters and storyline. A decent watch, but not particularly memorable.
A lesser made dead poet society. Some unnecessary scenes and poor writing make the movie boring. It gets good towards the end.
A good one-watch dramatic movie. A certain scene I’ll never twice.
It's a Ridley Scott film so it looks gorgeous. Shame it's boring though.
Decent film.
Not for me.
Great survival movie
