Very moving story, top notch performance, I can’t say enough good things about this movie.
Claire Denis is one of the best directors alive.
The destruction of colonization and the collapse of a racial hegemony. Overwhelming and distressing film as it should be.
Dark, ambiguous and ambivalent - Denis’ work is always perplexing but incredibly beautiful
Well acted drama about the effects of a regime change on white farmers, but especially the ending is predictable and disappointing.
Unless you enjoy racial bullshit (I personally am so sick of hearing about black this & black that I could 🤮 ) you’ll hate this
nice , but slow score
