An honest portrait of a struggling family with Jonah, the sensitive youngest son, just trying to make his way through it. This got to me.
A very powerful film with a great directorial debut
The acting carries a story light on plot, heavy on details. While not as deep as it advertises to be, moments of brilliance make it worth it
Everything in this movie is a indie cliché: the meandering story, handheld camera, wistful narration. Well constructed but hollow.
Underappreciated and overlooked, this film is full of humanity and a good coming-of-age film as Lady Bird and Eighth Grade were.
Very atmospheric movie about childhood, definitely more artistic than a straight on plot, I remember crying but it was awhile ago so idk why
Ultimately good but a VERY uncomfortable watch.
Amazing acting all around and a very real feeling script made this one of the best films of 2018. They didn't hide the drone shots very well
thought provoking
