As an epic biopic Zapata's life of revolution, it works. But as an historical account of the Mexican Revolution, it simply fails.
The Hollywood version of the life of Emiliano Zapata, good effort but not a very accurate or politically correct retelling.
I don’t know how you feel about Brando playing a Mexican, but he’s very good in this movie. Anthony Quinn, too!
Well worth watching for Brando fans
